TWILIGHT AND OYSTERS

Had another late night. Headed up to Hercules at around 7pm to help my mom prep around 50 Rockafella Oysters for AJ’s birthday party today. Didn’t realize how much work that was going to be. We had to clean them (the act of scrubbing the residual soot and dirt off of these by hand) and had raisined fingers and tender palms by the end of it all. It took my mom, myself and PINK about 2.5 hours to get it all done, but it should be worth it. They were a hit at the last party so we offered to do them for this one.

Everything sorta worked out because by the time we were done (11:30pm) we were headed back south towards the Borders bookstore in San Ramon. PINK is sort of a Twilight freak so she had a special ticket to get the midnight release of the Borders Exclusive Twilight DVD. Exclusive in the sense that it had different packaging and some bonus material on the 2nd disc in the set. That whole thing was funny though. There was actually some high school kid walking around all pastey skinned pretending he was Edward Cullen. At one point he was right behind me trying to talk to the girls that were in line. What a freak. He was actually reciting these words “I’m sorry I didn’t formally introduce myself. I’m Edward Cullen.”
HAHAHAHAHAHAAhahahahahahahaahahahhahaha…I was laughing my ass off. I thought my frickin’ brain was going to explode if I didn’t contain myself.
Later,
