Wow, I finally stopped procrastinating and I got my blog together. Of course, I couldn’t do it without the help of my very talented and creative fiance – Thanks, Greedy!

I wanted to start a blog mainly for the purpose of being able to remember what colors and products I used, and the method I used to apply my makeup. By no means am I a professional makeup artist, and I don’t claim to be. Anything I’ve done is purely for fun, and experience. I’m lucky to have great volunteers who trust me enough to allow me to poke and slab makeup product on their faces. =) I know I’ve come across many beauty blogs, and I have found them all to be very fascinating and truly informative. Actually, I think I’ve learned most, if not all of my makeup application techniques and tricks from the wonderful and talented bloggers out there, than from an actual makeup artist. It’s amazing what you can find on the internet these days.

Urban DecayAnyway, on to my post. I was walking through the mall, and set my eyes on a huge ad in front of Macy’s for Urban Decay, and immediately fell in love with the color and look on the model. I was determined to try and replicate the look. I was tempted to purchase all the products used on the model, but decided against it. Instead, I used MAC, since most of what I already own is from MAC. The above pic is my rendition of this Urban Decay look.

Phew! That’s it! I hope this helps anyone else who may be interested in trying out this look, too. I’d love to see everyone else’s take on this same look. I hope you’ll share. =)

Until our next post, Happy Friday!
