soMy FOTD. The above picture was taken last year, and was the first time I applied makeup on someone else. My sister was the lucky volunteer, not that she had much of a choice. *giggles* I think it actually turned out better than I expected. This was also her first mini photo shoot. My fiance took a few headshots for her, and they all turned out amazing! She was an excellent model, so I’ll continue to use her on many more FOTDs. *big cheesy smile*
This is my first weekend home in what feels like such a long time. Luckily for me this is going to be a wonderful sunny weekend in Northern Cali. Greedy and I enjoyed a nice 4 mile walk/jog around the park. It was beautiful out, although a bit windy. Honestly, I hate running I think it’s because I don’t really know how to run the right way. Oh well, I’ll just continue to walk/jog around the park on a daily basis until I’m doing it the right way. I wouldn’t normally torture myself like this, but I’m starting early on training for my half marathon in August. Last year I didn’t train until about a month before, and it was a horrible run. So, I’ve learned my lesson and will be better about training this year.
After my run I went to the MAC store, and made a few purchases. I got myself the Rollickin’ paintpot from the Fafi collection, Slimshine Lipstick in Pleasing and Rock Out, Overcast shadestick, and another eyeshadow palette. I love using shadesticks or paintpots with my eyeshadows, I feel that it adds extra color to the eyeshadow. I actually like using shadesticks more than paintpot’s only because I feel they’re easier to apply on the lid. Does anyone else feel the same about shadesticks?
