IMAGE SLIDER FIXED…FIREFOX RULES

So I spent the whole night trying to figure out why the image slider wouldn’t work across all the major browsers. Needless to say I wanted to rip my hair out and punch a hole right thru my monitor as my frustrations grew. It was so annoying reading all these different solutions (none of which worked for me), but magically worked for others. I did find evil comfort in others that were having the same problems that I was experiencing. Hehehe…I know that’s bad, but it wasn’t just me.
At around 1am I decided to scrap it all and just start over. The solution…FLASH! It did take me a while to get that to work also, but it was worth it because the bottom line is it solves my problems and it WORKS. Now if someone has any problems with that image slider it can only be due to lack of upgrades on the users end. This also means that there should be no future problems with any of our slideshows.
I see web technology like this: If something doesn’t work or takes an unreasonable amount of patches and fixes to work across all browsers then it simply sucks. It’s inferior and we should just move on to the next program or application that works the best. In my experience so far, everything just works in FIREFOX so I don’t see why people even bother with other browsers, I mean, we’re using these applications to get the best web experience we can so it should be done through the web browser that can provide that. Judging from the statistics chart provided to me by Google Analytics and all based on my visitors choice of web browser, it looks like you all feel the same.
