Got a couple of pix of the SF GIANTS x Manny Pacquiao Bobblehead they gave out to fans a couple of nights ago. A co-worker of mine attended the game and was kind enough to bring one in to work for show and tell. She got three of them that night and from what she says, these are being sold on eBay now for around $40. I had heard that it came out “less than true in skin color”, but dayuuum! You think? Somebody left Manny in the oven too long. I don’t know how these are made, but WTF? Who mixed the resin or paint up and said to themselves, “By golly we’ve done it! A perfect match!” That ain’t even close. Why’d they have to do him like that? Oh well, I guess Manny can’t win them all.
You know what would have been DOPE is if the skin color changed from light to dark depending on if you left him out in the sun or kept him shaded. That’s some next level shit though, so I guess he needs to chop down Godzilla before he can get a bobblehead made with that effect. I guess Manny can just consider it an honor to have a bobblehead made of him that’s rockin a Pacquiao SF Giants jersey along with boxing gloves and shorts designed with the flag of the Philippines. I don’t think anyone else can lay claim to that.
