I’ve been trying to finish up some designs to send to the printers before the end of the month. Needless to say, time management has been a minor issue. Usually I get moving on things and they just have a way of working out and meeting deadlines, but this time around it may just be a personal choice. I’ve sorta overlooked the finalizing of designs in lieu of maintaining site updates and functionality, which although it’s been productive on the blog side, has sidetracked me a bit. I think the site itself is at a good place in terms of design, at least for now. I’m counting on JUICE, PINK and BUBBLEZ to pick up the slack as I slow down a bit on the site updating and focus more on the tshirt designs. Sounds pretty fair, right?
Anyways, a couple things are happening. I’m finishing shirts 3 and 4 and once that’s done and printed I’m opening up shop. I know, “Finally”, but like I’ve said from the beginning, this process takes some time and yo, there’s a lot of shit happening in the background. We’re not trying to blow-up overnight, because that isn’t a realistic goal. The industry is saturated with all kinds of t-shirt start-ups, some good and some really, really bad. We’re not trying to get lost in that mix. We’re staying low, flying under the radar and trying to make some cool shit. We’re just waiting for all the dust to settle because there is still a ton of things to learn and get focused on.
I mentioned in a previous post that the second shirt was done and you all know what that means…SNEAK. I had planned on getting that all done before we went down to Vegas, but I guess preparation for a trip and a much needed break got in the way. I brought some of the new shirts down to Vegas and I guess BADONKEY KONG couldn’t wait. She opened up the fresh plastic and rocked her shirt on day 2 of the trip. I also got a chance to work up a couple different colorways for the fitteds JUICE has been working up. I didn’t get a chance to photograph them before BABY GODZILLA and BADONKEY KONG snagged them up and took them back to SoCAL. Yeah, I know, I suck. Hopefully they don’t get wrecked up before I see them again at the end of the month. If I get the urge and the time then I’m droppin’ a SNEAK on them too.
