NIKE AIR MAX 1 – CHIEN-MING WANG
Recently added to the Nike Premium lineup are these Air Max 1’s. Nike asked New York Yankees pitcher, Chien-Ming Wang to help influence the design of these shoes which feature white leather uppers, black midsoles with gum colored tracks. The immediate stand-out of these shoes is the baseball style stitching done in gold and used across the leather panels. The silhouette of Chien-Ming on the tongue label and his number on the flipside are interesting touches. They’re cool but not unlike DC’s 20|94 which already used a similar treatment.
