AN ATTEMPT AT PAINTING DIGITALLY

I decided to dust off my WACOM tablet, that I purchased close to four years ago. I bought it and just never got used to using it. It wasn’t until last week that I got sorta jealous reading these tutorials online where the designers or artists were talking about their tablets and how they use them to paint or illustrate digitally. That was enough to interest me into attempting to use it again. It’s actually been a really long time since I pulled out acylics, paintbrushes and canvas and painted anything so I knew my attempts at trying to paint something realistic would be really rough. The physical process was bothering me also. Just the idea of looking at a screen and not my hand while illustrating seemed really foreign. It will take more getting used to, but here’s what I did in a couple of hours. I think it came out as good as I could have hoped for now. Obviously there’s still alot for me to understand when trying to paint with the tablet. I think the best part is that now that I’m done, there’s nothing to clean up. NICE!
