CONCEPT ECO 07 – THE COMPACT URBAN BIKE

So you’re not really into those compact bicycles that you see on late night informercials? You’ve often wondered why someone couldn’t just design something “Cool”. Well, Mexican industrial designer Victor M. Aleman hopes to change your perception of the compact travel bike with his Concept Eco // 07 – The Compact Urban Bicycle.
I’d want one just to carry around and assemble and disassemble. The design is way slick and takes into account design, function, and usability. Perhaps most unique are the wheels whose ability to be collapsed displays some engineering prowess. I think the pictures illustrate better what I mean. By collapsing the wheels the entire bike can be fit into a much smaller travel case. This is thinking out of the box to get into the box. SICK.
