If you’ve been following us and seen or even made that leap of faith and purchased our first four customs from eBay then you’re already aware of our custom vinylmation project. The ultimate goal is to release 12 customs to create a very unique custom urban series with each piece being hand painted with the finest details and finished with superior quality. To those of you lucky few that already have our customs, we thank you and hope that you continue to follow us in the pursuit of the next 8 pieces.

In order to move forward with our next 8 designs we will be shelving our current 4. That doesn’t mean we will completely stop selling them, they will be available on ebay at random intervals and not as consistent as they have been. Right now, they show up within a few days of an auctions end. With this change they will be available every other week or so. This may not mean anything to anyone, but to some of you this could be important, especially if you’re interested in acquiring our complete set. As already mentioned, each individual piece is hand painted and it’s a very manual and labor intensive process. In order to create the next 8 figures with equal attention to detail we must balance the work load. This seems like the fairest solution.

We already mentioned that some individuals have already acquired all 4 of our pieces. Needless to say, we are incredibly grateful to them for believing in our work. They took a chance early and are now in the running to receive a very special gift from us…Custom Design No.13. We’ve always felt strongly that any collector who would be willing to go out and acquire all our customs would not only express a strong conviction to support custom artists in general, but on a more personal level, loyalty and support of Newborn Apple® Studio and my work as an independent artist. In our opinion that’s worthy of a reward. That being said, Custom Design No.13 will be a gift to the eBay buyer account that purchases all 12 of our customs. This will be an unreleased custom design of ours, not a custom based on a design the winning collector wants made.

A finalized set of these rules will be available later, but here are the basics.

The RULES:

1. All 12 purchases must be made using the same eBay buyer account, no combining of purchases from different accounts, no exceptions.
2. All 12 purchases must be one of each of the 12 designs. You must have purchased the complete set of 12 to qualify. This will be determined by us looking up your account in our eBay sales records.
3. The 12 designs can be purchased in random order.
4. This offer ends immediately following the completion of the final set of 12.
5. Retracting your bids on any auctions won as well as cancellation and/or failure to pay for auctions won disqualifies you from qualifying for this offer.
6. We reserve the right to update these rules and cancel this offer at any time for any reason. This is not a contest.
7. You will be contacted by us via email once it has been determined that the winning buyer has completed their set of 12.

So what makes this a challenge? Well, if we told you that the production numbers for the last 8 figures will be lower than our first four then that might help you understand how limited this will be. Better yet, just as with all vinylmation collecting our “Chaser” figure (Design No.12) will have the lowest numbers. We’ve always believed that at least a handful of custom collectors would want this entire set. That should be a clue as to how challenging it could be to acquire Custom No.13.
