PINK and I came down to LA this past weekend. We were here for a couple of reasons. Her niece was having a birthday party which is always an opportunity for family to get together, eat and get fat and catch up on things. We were also looking forward to getting some practice with our photoshoot skills. PINK handles all the makeup and sexy-prep and of course I snap the pics and finish the post-production. I can’t remember the last time we did one, but it’s been a while so we were pretty excited at the opportunity. Pink’s sister’s friend Mara had mentioned doing a photoshoot quite some time ago. It was all in passing conversation so we didn’t really know if she was serious at all. It wasn’t until recently that we found out that Mara was truly considering some modeling and needed some photos for her portfolio. We’re always pretty flattered when people ask us to do these things. I mean, who are we really? We do this for fun and have never fully considered a side business doing photoshoots for models wanting to build a portfolio. Although I do believe that we could hold our own we know that we can always get better. Now that NA is on the come up we’re going to have to get up to speed pretty fast.
Anyways, this was Mara’s first ever photoshoot and hopefully we’ll get to do it again. She’s super-leggy which everyone knows is a plus if you’re gonna be a model. I’m about 5 foot 9 inches tall and yo…I found my self needing to look up at her slightly during the shoot. Hopefully she becomes famous and PINK and I get to claim the first-ever modeling photos of her. That would be sweet. We can only dream for now, but they’re pretty cool though dont’cha think?
